Day 3 in Shanghai~ |
Day 3 was a little like "nothing to do lets go walk walk." type of day. We went to cheng huang miao wanting to eat xiao long bao. BUTTTTTTTTTTT.... the queue was so freaking long that we gave up. T_T
Any way.. moving on to pictures!

We started our day by visiting the Jade Buddha Temple, which i personally think that it is a rip-off. To enter the temple, you gotta buy tickets at 20 yuan each [somemore no student price can!]. But that's not all. TO SEE THE JADE BUDDHA, PAY ANOTHER 10 YUAN! EACH!
Firstly.. the outside of Jade Buddha Temple~
Then on the way to see the Jade Buddha...
After this place, we couldn't take any more photos because they didn't allow photography of the buddha. T_T. and i paid 30 yuan (SGD$6) for it! wtf.
After the temple, we took a cab to chenghuang miao. But queue was too long, there were too many people, after walking awhile, we went back to the hotel at 2pm. And slept till 4pm then headed out for early dinner at Yong He at 4.30pm!
We ordered, 2 cups of soy bean milk,
1 set of xiao long bao, 1 set of shao bing+youtiao
1 set of gyoza~
All it cost was 30yuan (SGD$6) and its equivalent to one entry to the Jade Buddha Temple!
But dinner was not all that! you are forgetting about dessert!
So we walked around and discovered this place

Another Vintage tram... and inside of the vintage tram is actually.....
a Restaurant!
There we ordered.....
a plate of fries...
A mango juice with a super long straw T_T
2 banana splits and a coke. LOL. even more expensive than our dinner can!
Then we took a long cab ride to Shanghai Circus World...
Resemblance to esplanade right!
Building next to the shanghai circus world. LOL.
Us waiting outside of the entrance because they wouldn't let us in till 7pm! AND IT WAS COLD.
Managed to snap a photo inside [shhh.. i am not supposed to!]
During intermission. After the show ended at 9.15pm, we headed back to the hotel for the day~

okay. tml a certain pair of sisters would go to airport to see a certain boyband arriving in shanghai from Japan! Wish that pair of sisters luck!

How can they make people PAY to enter a TEMPLE?! :/ Isn't it supposed to be a religious place to visit........and at most we'll need to pay for offerings only?
Why do you sound like you're going Shanghai for a normal visit than a trip. You sound like you can go back there anytime ;_; especially with 'nothing to do lets go walk walk' -.-
